Our Valentine's Day

My grandparents were the perfect example of an ideal couple. They loved to spend time together and with friends. Merrilynne often says that Robbie and I are like them... I am not too sure why, but I am flattered by the compliment. I realized after Valentine's day one of the simliarities we have Mr and Mrs Newell Wayne Booth.

Robbie and I have a lot of fun cooking together. I think we make the perfect team. Robbie is the meat and "flavor" man while I bring the meal together with the "baked goods" and table scapes. Last year, rather than standing in lines with other couples attempting to make the most of their "romantic" evening... we decided to stay home and cook. We decided to keep the tradition alive this year. Here are a few pictures of our night.

Doesn't this just make your mouth water!

Jocelyne and Kevin celebrated the "love" day with us. They can't wait to be married on May 3rd!

You should try the heart shaped pizza from papa murphy's on valentines...it's divine! Poor Jay, that's as creative as I get these days! Landon thinks it's pretty cool though, so at least one of the men in my life thinks valentines rocks!
