It was WICKED!

The entire 10 hour drive to California over Thanksgiving was spent listening to the WICKED soundtrack. We actually would listen to a verse, stop the music to speculate and then re listening to try and determine what was happening. We had about 5 or 6 story lines going. Not to mention imagining what the performance would be like... (I have some choreographed moves to a few of the songs that were pretty close to the actual performance.) We couldn't wait to find out which one of our theories was really true and why or how Elphaba became the Wicked Witch of the West. After experiencing the show first hand... we were not disappointed!

We planned the entire day around the show. Sleep in, do some work, go to the LA temple, dinner and then.... WICKED! Everything went perfectly as planned until we got to Hollywood Blvd. All three people we received directions from told us the same way to go... and through our excitement we must have heard them wrong because we parked 7 blocks away! Don't worry we didn't realize this until we had already paid to park and walked about a block. This was not going to dampen our spirits.... "we were unlimited..." so off came the heels and we sprinted about one mile to make it to the show as they were making the last curtain call. During intermission Robbie picked up two $4 water bottles, which we finished quickly. At the end of the show I found myself sick from the sprint after dinner. Even though it was a tough night I would do it all again... and like anyone else who has seen it, feel like I too have been "changed for good."

Wow, that is so cool. I am probably the last of my friends to get to see Wicked, and unless it comes to Houston, I probably won't, at least not for a long while. But I am happy for you. Your picture is adorable:)
Merry Christmas!
